Subcontractors - Creating Additional Users

Creating additional users requires access to the Administration POP Apps module (separate to the Administration section of SC Controller). If you do not already have access to the Administration module, to gain access, an existing admin user must modify your user and tick the Super Admin checkbox.

This topic covers creating additional users as a subcontractor. When a subcontractor tenant is first set up, one subcontractor user will be created for you by the main contractor. If you require additional users, you must create these yourselves.

The user that is created during onboarding will be in the "OWNER" user group, which is a unique group to which no further users can be added. For any additional users to be able to access SC Controller, they must be assigned to a user group with the SC QS user role. This user group should be set up as a default group when the subcontractor tenant is created.

The company and contract security section can be ignored as it is not relevant in this case; all subcontractor users automatically receive access to all orders shared with their tenant by the main contractor.
