Expenses-Task Management Integration

If you are a Task Management mobile user as well as an Expenses approver, there is a setting you can enable which allows you to receive and approve/reject expense reports within the Task Management app. Enabling this setting does not prevent expense reports from appearing in your Review Expense Reports grid, so you will have the choice of whether to action them within Expenses or Task Management.

Note that the expense report approval process is more limited in Task Management compared to Expenses. You can approve or reject expense reports, however individual claim items cannot be approved, rejected, edited or have notes added to them.

To enable expense reports to be sent to Task Management, first make sure you have the following user roles:

  • Expenses – Approver

  • Task Management – User

  1. Click your username or avatar, then click the Preferences icon .

This opens the User Preferences window.

  1. Select Mobile Approver.

  1. Tick the “Receive Expense Reports to Approve via Task Management” box to enable the setting.
